As Application Administrator at HAP, you will act as the internal expert for department applications, supporting business users, maintaining configurations, and driving adoption of modules. You will be the first point of contact for user questions, coordinate with IT and other departments, and monitor system performance and data integrity across supplier records, contracts, and transactions. You will develop training materials, conduct sessions, and support ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and testing. This role emphasizes data governance, policy alignment, and cross-functional collaboration within Provider Network Operations.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day use of application modules for internal users, including user access, workflows, and metadata updates
- Coordinate with other departments to align configurations with business policies
- Serve as first contact for user questions and issues, escalating to IT application support as needed
- Monitor system performance and coordinate with application support for issue resolution
- Conduct trainings and maintain user documentation for new features and onboarding
- Develop and deliver training materials for new users or feature rollouts
- Participate in weekly status meetings and quarterly steering committees to report on performance and adoption
- Monitor data integrations with Oracle ERP and HR systems, collaborating to resolve issues
- Ensure data integrity across supplier records, contracts, and transactions
- Generate and analyze reports to support compliance, audits, and performance tracking
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on configurations, processes, and best practices
- Support continuous improvement by gathering user feedback and proposing enhancements
- Ensure compliance with data governance and audit policies
- Participate in enhancements, upgrades, and module rollouts
- Coordinate testing and validation of new features or configurations
- Maintain and update approval workflows, templates, and business rules
- Work on maintenance of applications including process mapping, requirements gathering, configuration, user/supplier setup and testing support
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or similar) or 5+ years vendor management experience
- 5+ years experience in procurement, finance systems, business configuration, IT or enterprise software administration
- Experience with enterprise software systems in operations, data management, technology environments, procurement or finance
- Experience with system configuration, user support, and training delivery
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management is a plus
- Understanding of data integrations or SSO (e.g., SAML 2.0) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with symplr or provider data is strongly preferred (Provider Network Operations context)
- Healthcare or insurance industry experience and provider data management knowledge are pluses
