In this role you lead HR operations within TSA’s Human Capital Operations to strengthen personnel processing and payroll effectiveness. You’ll act as the primary liaison between headquarters and field managers, guiding HR actions and tracking status. You will drive quality control, oversee audits, and implement continuous improvements to HR programs. Responsibilities

Serve as the principal representative to headquarters and field managers for incoming actions and guidance requests
Design and operate systems to track HR actions and ensure timely updates to customers
Set processing priorities for HR actions and monitor special actions requiring approval
Lead quality control and develop a continuous improvement program for HR operations
Coordinate responses to information requests for DHS-mandated audits and ensure compliance
Assess program changes for impact on payroll and processing requirements and recommend effective operations
Complete supervisory probationary period as required

Key requirements

One year of specialized HR experience at SV-I/GS-13 level or equivalent
Experience with personnel transaction processing, payroll or benefits
Ability to brief management and communicate complex HR issues clearly to various audiences
Experience conducting projects or reviews to resolve operational issues
Proficiency in high-volume HR tasks (e.g., SF-52, timecards, new hire records, HR systems)
Knowledge of HR Information Systems and data reporting tools
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
U.S. citizenship or national status and selective service registration
