In this role you drive efficient warehouse operations, safeguard inventory, and lead a team to ensure accurate material handling. You will oversee shipping/receiving, inventories, and safety programs while guiding cost control and facility maintenance. You’ll collaborate with multiple departments to improve processes and project efficiency, contributing to Comcast’s operational excellence and customer-focused goals.

Responsibilities

Supervise warehouse personnel: hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and corrective actions
Coordinate all shipping and receiving activities and liaise with shippers
Enforce inventory procedures for accurate transactions and inventory flow
Conduct regular physical inventories and report findings to management
Manage security of inventory and respond to suspected theft per guidelines
Issue materials upon receipt with proper documentation and compliance oversight
Implement safety and health programs ensuring legal compliance
Oversee facility maintenance and vendor relationships
Assist with project material management and analyze yields to improve efficiency
Manage warehouse expenses aligning with budgets and financial goals
Exercise independent judgment in significant matters
Maintain regular attendance and willingness to work nights/weekends
Other duties as assigned

Key requirements

2-5 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred; combination of coursework/experience considered
Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed
Knowledge of shipping/receiving, inventory control, and safety compliance
Understanding of cost management and vendor coordination
