Responsibilities

Supervise and expand the rehabilitation team and programs to ensure efficient operations
Develop and implement therapy policies, procedures, and treatment protocols aligned with the facility's vision
Plan and deliver specialized therapy programs to improve mobility and function
Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients with various diagnoses
Document patient information and adjust treatment plans; educate patients and families about plans and home exercises
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical practice guidelines
Participate in budgeting, strategic planning, and athletic/clinical program improvements
Provide day-to-day guidance and leadership to staff; manage expenses and contribute to financial/quality targets
Support professional development through mentorship, preceptorship, and continuing education initiatives
Treat individuals across all ages and integrate current research into daily practice
Maintain required competencies and certifications (BLS, licensure)
Travel to sites as needed and handle in-house therapy transitions across facilities

Key requirements

Current licensure as OT/PT/SLP or multi-state licensure as required
Two years of therapy and rehabilitation experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
May require valid driver’s license and travel up to 50% of the time
Education level governed by state licensure requirements
Ability to supervise staff and work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
