Responsibilities
- Supervise and expand the rehabilitation team and programs to ensure efficient operations
- Develop and implement therapy policies, procedures, and treatment protocols aligned with the facility's vision
- Plan and deliver specialized therapy programs to improve mobility and function
- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients with various diagnoses
- Document patient information and adjust treatment plans; educate patients and families about plans and home exercises
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical practice guidelines
- Participate in budgeting, strategic planning, and athletic/clinical program improvements
- Provide day-to-day guidance and leadership to staff; manage expenses and contribute to financial/quality targets
- Support professional development through mentorship, preceptorship, and continuing education initiatives
- Treat individuals across all ages and integrate current research into daily practice
- Maintain required competencies and certifications (BLS, licensure)
- Travel to sites as needed and handle in-house therapy transitions across facilities
Key requirements
- Current licensure as OT/PT/SLP or multi-state licensure as required
- Two years of therapy and rehabilitation experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- May require valid driver’s license and travel up to 50% of the time
- Education level governed by state licensure requirements
- Ability to supervise staff and work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
