In this Hybrid HR Specialist role, you will support SEWS facilities in Bowling Green, Lexington, and Louisville, focusing on associate relations, recruiting, development, and engagement. Responsibilities

Serve as HR representative for SEWS Lexington and Louisville facilities, promoting a positive work environment
Advise management on associate relations issues and policy compliance
Coordinate full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, interviewing, references, hiring, onboarding
Lead new hire orientation and benefits enrollment
Develop and oversee associate engagement activities and community involvement initiatives
Coordinate workplace safety programs and OSHA-related activities
Maintain safety records and administer workers' compensation documentation
Write and coordinate internal/external communications
Maintain relationships with community organizations and media
Administer Spirit for Education Scholarship Program
Support organizational development and strategic HR planning
Assist with special HR projects and initiatives

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in HR Management or closely related field
3-5 years progressive HR experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Experience with HRIS (preferably ADP)
Experience with applicant tracking systems (preferably Jobvite)
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Ability to travel 5-10% as needed
