As Strategy Manager in Umicore’s Recycling Business Group, you shape and implement long-term plans that translate ambitions into actionable roadmaps. You work within the Corporate Development Team to drive strategy, manage key initiatives, and provide updates to leadership and the Supervisory Board. The role blends analytical rigor with cross-functional collaboration to steer growth, partnerships, and transformation programs. You help position Recycling for sustainable, resource-efficient impact across industries.

Responsibilities
- Manage strategic projects at BU and Group level, including growth initiatives, partnerships, and transformation programs
- Define project objectives, scope, timelines, and governance, and drive content discussions with stakeholders
- Conduct analysis, challenge inputs, derive conclusions, and prepare stakeholder-aligned presentations
- Set up and manage PMO processes, dashboards, and reporting for strategy performance
- Translate objectives into roadmaps, collaborate with functions to implement initiatives, and track progress
- Support long-term strategic planning and market intelligence to identify opportunities and risks
- Prepare materials for top management and facilitate cross-functional storyline development
- Coordinate external consultants as needed and ensure alignment with senior leadership
Key requirements
- Master degree in Business, Economics or Engineering
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in industry, metals/mining, or management/strategy consulting
- Strong strategic insight and analytical capability; ability to structure and drive complex projects
- Pragmatic approach to strategy formulation and implementation
- Self-driven, motivated, and able to deliver high-quality results under deadlines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Team player with experience working in multinational, multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in English and Dutch; German is a plus
