Senior Specialist / Project Manager
Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead business development for HED’s Workplace sector, coordinating with sector leadership to drive growth and expand key accounts. You will shape pursuit strategy, manage client relationships, and translate firm capabilities into winning proposals. You’ll synthesize market insights, mentor teams, and advance cross-sector initiatives to strengthen brand presence and revenue. This is a high-impact position shaping strategy, market positioning, and client intimacy at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales growth strategies aligned with HED and Workplace goals
- Manage and expand key client accounts across HED Workplace as the primary contact
- Refine market strategy, sector analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Mentor professionals in the business development process
- Lead Target Account Planning and manage Client Intimacy programs for key accounts
- Track client contacts, identify decision makers, introduce firm capabilities, identify opportunities
- Lead strategy for initial client meetings, presentations, and pitches
- Translate and customize firm brand strategy into external messaging
- Lead and manage sales and business development initiatives
- Attend industry events and network to build relationships
- Enhance profile of HED and Workplace brands
- Engage in market analysis and competitive intelligence
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and pitches
- Lead preparation of proposals and interview pitches with marketing
- Serve as trusted advisor to Business and Sector Leaders
- Understand company services and client needs
- Diligence and proficiency in CRM and sales tools
- Populate and maintain CRM for opportunities, pursuits, and contacts
- Manage client development process with information and promotional materials
- Lead in CRM data population for opportunities and contacts
- Perform additional assignments as directed by leadership
Key requirements
- Bachelor or equivalent experience in Architecture/Engineering/Marketing/Business/Communications or 5–10 years in sales
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and diverse teams
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible
- Professional demeanor in business and social settings
- Ability to represent HED at conferences and events
- Computer literate in general office applications
- Excellent writing and speaking skills
