Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and evaluate assigned steam turbine projects following engineering standards and program requirements
Independently develop steam turbine solutions for complex applications aligned with timelines and cost targets
Apply turbine expertise to ensure high quality work and on-time delivery
Support CMU delivery through design and analysis of turbine components
Build deep domain knowledge and apply it to support business objectives
Use judgment to address technical issues and propose solutions within established parameters
Collaborate with internal teams and leverage multiple technical inputs for sound decisions
Coach and mentor newer engineers and share engineering principles
Create technical resources and lessons learned to improve team effectiveness
Identify opportunities to improve turbine designs and processes based on field feedback
Support continuous improvement by adopting better approaches and standards

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Solid experience in design, service, maintenance, or operations of large rotating industrial equipment
