In this role you will help build a premier, high-performance distributed infrastructure. You will tackle cross-layer performance bottlenecks at microsecond scales and work closely with an elite infrastructure team to optimize systems from kernel to hardware. You will shape production-grade solutions using low-level programming and advanced observability to reveal and fix deep-rooted bottlenecks. This is a highly technical, impact-driven position within a crypto/web3 infrastructure context, offering meaningful challenges and opportunities to influence latency and reliability at scale.

Responsibilities

Architect and refine low-latency infrastructure where microsecond-level performance is required
Diagnose and resolve cross-layer issues across network, kernel, and hardware
Optimize end-to-end network performance including NIC tuning and congestion control analysis
Develop bespoke observability tooling using eBPF, hardware counters, and flamegraphs
Read and interpret kernel source code or assembly to debug socket and memory contention
Collaborate on production-grade systems using Rust and other low-level languages

Key requirements

10+ years of experience in systems programming, networking, or performance-critical infrastructure
Expert-level Linux knowledge of networking stack internals, scheduling, and kernel interfaces
Deep Networking Proficiency: analyze packet captures under extreme load (TCP/UDP, ICMP)
Hands-on experience with DPDK, XDP, io_uring or similar kernel-bypass frameworks
Strong fundamentals in Rust, C, or C++, with memory-efficient, concurrent coding
Proven perf profiling using perf, eBPF, and trace-based debugging
