As a UI-focused Product Designer at Harness, you will shape the visual language and interaction quality of our enterprise developer-facing platform. You will elevate polish and consistency across complex product surfaces, partnering with UX, Product, and Engineering to scale designs for CI/CD, cloud, and developer tooling. You will translate technical requirements into clear, elegant interfaces and push the craft of design systems and motion to signal trust to enterprise customers. This role offers the chance to impact how developers interact with a large-scale platform and to own design decisions from concept through post-launch iteration.

Responsibilities

Own the presentation layer and interaction quality for major product areas, ensuring polish and usability.
Design scalable UI patterns for complex workflows in CI/CD, cloud, and developer tooling environments.
Advance visual cohesion across the platform via layout, typography, spacing, color, and interaction design.
Collaborate with Design Systems to evolve components, patterns, and tokens for consistency.

Key requirements

5+ years of hands-on product design experience in enterprise or developer-facing software
A portfolio demonstrating strong UI and interaction craft with high polish
Strong skills in visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and interaction design
Experience designing complex systems that scale across features and teams
Familiarity with design systems and maintaining consistency in large products
Experience with cloud platforms or developer tools (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, CI/CD, DevOps tooling)
Ability to balance speed and craft in a fast-moving environment
Strong collaboration and influence without authority
