As a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer, you build and scale LiveRamp’s Data Marketplace, enabling customers and agents to access premium data for audience building. You will own frontend and backend services, APIs, and microservices, collaborating across teams to deliver impactful features. You’ll drive reliability, performance, and best-practice coding standards while leading reviews and mentoring. This role sits at the core of a privacy‑compliant data platform that connects partners and customers. You’ll shape how complex data assets are accessed and monetized at scale.

Responsibilities

Design and develop frontend and backend services and RESTful APIs using TypeScript, Python, and Ruby
Implement frontend components with React.js and seamless backend integration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design principles
Develop scalable microservices ensuring reliability and performance
Lead code reviews and uphold coding standards
Troubleshoot across the full application stack
Drive continuous improvements in development processes

Key requirements

8+ years of hands-on software development experience
Strong proficiency in Java or Go, Spring Boot, and REST API development
Frontend experience with TypeScript, React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
Understanding of microservices, API design, and integration patterns
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes
Version control (Git, GitHub, or GitLab) and CI/CD tools
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Exposure to Search and retrieval systems; Kafka/RabbitMQ exposure is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
