In this role you will maintain accounting schedules, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and support the monthly close for our GL operations. You will work with the Finance team to ensure accurate reporting and timely close, handling audits and inquiries with professionalism. You will analyze discrepancies, provide recommended solutions, and generate ad hoc analyses as needed. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position in a collaborative finance function that contributes to reliable financial management and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Maintain accounting schedules and prepare journal entries and reconciliations, including cash reconciliations
Assist in preparing and monitoring monthly accounting activity
Assist in monthly financial close process
Prepare, maintain, and provide accounting schedules to auditors
Research issues and provide recommended solutions
Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation; recommend solution/adjustments
Respond to internal and external inquiries professionally
Generate ad hoc analyses and reports
Take on new activities as assigned

Key requirements

BA/BS in Business/Accounting/Finance or related field
2+ years progressive Accounting experience, high volume and varied operational accounting activities preferred

strong communicator excellent organizational skills ability to multi-task and meet deadlines GAAP knowledge strong reconciliation and account analysis advanced Excel proficiency
