In this role you drive the full capital equipment sales cycle for Bruker Spatial Biology, engaging life sciences customers and turning scientific challenges into value propositions. You will work closely with marketing, field scientists, and technical support to advance opportunities and close pilots. The position combines deep domain knowledge with strategic account planning to grow revenue and deliver cutting-edge spatial biology solutions. You will operate in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment that values scientific impact and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
- Build relationships with existing and new accounts to meet sales quotas and targets.
- Lead the capital equipment sales cycle from first contact to closed deals, including pilot projects.
- Prospect via direct and indirect methods, networking with Field Application Scientists and other sales roles.
- Qualify prospects against company criteria and sales stage gates.
- Consult with customers on business needs and value propositions of Bruker solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date domain knowledge of Spatial Biology platforms for meaningful conversations.
- Identify key decision makers and present value propositions to executives and managers.
- Collaborate with technical support and marketing product specialists as needed.
- Develop and maintain territory and account plans to meet ongoing sales targets.
- Maintain CRM records and funnel forecasts to support quarterly revenue planning.
- Partner with Marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns.
Key requirements
- MS or BS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field
- Strong familiarity with Spatial genomics and proteomics technologies (preferred)
- 5+ years of field experience selling capital equipment and consumables
- Excellent communication and life sciences market knowledge
- Ability to deliver effective presentations
- Solid understanding of sales processes (quoting, purchasing, revenue recognition) and Miller Heiman terminology
- Highly self-motivated and growth-oriented within a commercial team
- Strong organizational skills with CRM and process documentation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong time and project management abilities
- Willingness to travel 50–75% depending on territory
