In this role you will oversee and optimize critical technology infrastructure to ensure performance, security, and reliability. You’ll lead enterprise systems initiatives, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and guide remediation and resilience efforts. You’ll shape infrastructure standards, disaster recovery planning, and secure identity services, impacting the organization’s daily operations and long‑term goals. This position offers leadership opportunities and exposure to enterprise applications and cloud considerations, within a collaborative, security‑minded team.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain servers, storage, virtualization, and network systems for reliability and performance
- Lead deployment and management of core infrastructure aligned with business objectives
- Monitor and enhance enterprise systems prioritizing resilience and collaboration
- Oversee health, performance, and lifecycle planning including budgeting for servers, cloud, and network resources
- Collaborate with application owners to manage core applications (document management, billing systems, integrations)
- Supervise and mentor system administration staff and ensure documentation
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity services
- Develop and test backup, disaster recovery, and restore procedures
- Refine and enforce infrastructure and application standards (change management, monitoring, incident response)
- Act as escalation point for complex issues, coordinating with vendors and teams
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent relevant experience
- At least five years of direct systems administration experience in enterprise environments
- Proficiency in administering servers, virtualization, networking, and enterprise applications such as Exchange and Office365
- Familiarity with Time and Billing systems and IntApp environments is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to balance stability and user needs
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and daily operational tasks in a dynamic setting
- Prior experience leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering growth and cross-training initiatives
