As Sr. Planning Manager, you lead a large planning organization within Global Supply Chain to optimize processes, solve critical problems and implement improvements. Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive best practices in planning and operations
- Direct and coach the planning organization across potentially multiple sites or regions
- Own and drive the strategic planning roadmap and act as a change agent
- Build an inclusive, high-performance team and develop talent
- Solve problems via improvement analyses and optimization of work processes
- Ensure accountability for team results and remove obstacles to execution
- Foster cross-functional engagement and collaboration
- Lead projects to improve overall planning performance and define best practices
- Engage in executive communications and support organizational initiatives
- Invest in team and talent development
- Support order level service initiatives
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study
- +10 years of Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing experience
- +5 years leading others
- Proficiency with an ERP, advanced planning system, analytical system or equivalent
- Strong change management capability
- Proven ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams and build relationships
- Expert influencer, motivator and developer of individuals and teams
- Advanced project and program management experience with a track record of driving improvements
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong business-to-business process improvement experience
