In this role you will plan, negotiate, and execute digital media campaigns for client accounts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely media plans and analyses. You will drive digital strategy alongside traditional media, oversee day-to-day planning processes, and present POVs and performance reports to clients. The position emphasizes vendor relationships, budgeting, and actionable optimization to achieve campaign objectives at scale. This is a client-centric, collaborative role with growth opportunities in media leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and optimize digital media campaigns across formats (display, online video, mobile, online gaming)
  • Coordinate with offline media teams to align digital and traditional strategies
  • Research, analyze, and report performance data; provide actionable recommendations
  • Manage internal communications and budget allocation with paid search and SEO teams
  • Oversee day-to-day media planning workflows and coordinate with assistants
  • Train and mentor junior staff; support career development
  • Present recommendations and POVs to clients and internal teams; deliver regular performance reporting
  • Handle media billing approvals, invoicing, and insertion orders for managed buys
  • Utilize research tools (competitive analysis, site traffic, demographics) for campaign planning

Key requirements

  • 2-4 years in media planning or agency environment
  • Experience negotiating with digital vendors
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend digital campaign placements and strategies
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of ad servers (Atlas, DoubleClick, Sizmek) is a plus
  • Experience with retail/restaurant/franchise operations is desirable
  • Full-service agency experience preferred but not required
