In this role you will lead SAP Operations for on-premise services and managed contracts, ensuring SLAs, performance, and cost controls while scaling responsibilities across digital platforms. You’ll partner with Delivery Managers to align delivery approaches and drive renewals and new agreements. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong emphasis on contract governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead Service Delivery Manager for partner-delivered SAP services, overseeing performance and mentoring the provider
Review service performance through reporting to ensure stability and meet SLAs
Contribute to business recovery and continuity planning to maintain system availability
Extend and negotiate contracts, manage renewals, and assist in new contract development
Manage financial aspects of contracts including PO processes, invoicing, and forecasting
Ensure license compliance within contracts
Coordinate transitions from projects to Managed Operations and support large-scale transitions
Plan funding and budgeting for new or extended services
Collaborate with Platform/Product teams to support projects and maintenance
Stay updated on SAP roadmap and propose service delivery improvements
Participate in chapter/cluster activities covering supplier landscape
Prepare and oversee transitions of large projects to Managed Operations

Key requirements

12+ years of SAP experience with at least 6 years in service delivery management
Deep knowledge of Application Managed Services (operations and finances)
Proven SAP functional experience in Supply Chain, Order Management or Manufacturing
Experience with on-premise and cloud services; SAP RISE experience and contract management is a plus
Proven contract management, negotiations, and financial budgeting experience
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership; able to manage multiple priorities and cross-team initiatives
Comfort dealing with conflicting stakeholder interests, including senior management
