Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to define product and technical requirements
Design, support, and customize software applications; develop update processes and assist with releases
Mentor and train junior software engineers
Oversee documentation of technical requirements, tests, and manuals; prepare evaluation plans and reports
Track and evaluate performance metrics and ensure on-time delivery within budget
Provide technical leadership and defend architectural and design choices to internal audiences
Coordinate with QA to verify specifications and requirements
Stay current with industry developments and competitive solutions
Assist in roll-out of software releases and integration efforts

Key requirements

5+ years of professional experience in a large-scale enterprise system
Web technologies including mobile development (iOS, tvOS, Android), JavaScript ES6+, React Native, Node.js
Experience with Java/Spring Framework
Knowledge of configuration and infrastructure management tools; AWS/GCP, CloudFormation, Ansible, Consul; DevOps concepts
Video technologies (HLS, MP4, MPEG-DASH) and content protection (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay)
Strong documentation and communication skills
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
