Responsibilities

Serve as global SME for washing and sterilization equipment; lead cross-functional teams and vendors to develop specs and improvements
Drive standardization and harmonization of equipment and documentation across the global network
Collaborate with Process Engineering to identify improvement opportunities and design challenges
Stay informed on emerging equipment standards and market trends to boost performance and efficiency
Investigate root causes of equipment failures and implement validated modifications
Lead problem-solving activities to resolve equipment-related issues at manufacturing plants
Coordinate GMP-related validations and process evaluations for equipment
Act as primary technical contact for vendors, managing tasks and deliverables (FAT, SAT, IOQ)
Establish equipment standards aligned with Quality, Efficiency, Cost Reduction, and Safety goals
Manage equipment projects from URS to PQ with GMP-compliant documentation
Assess vendor proposals for feasibility and application suitability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align equipment with corporate objectives
Ensure equipment complies with Safety Regulations and internal standards

Key requirements

Minimum 5 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of engineering principles in cleanroom and GMP environments
Proven experience managing equipment projects (specification, procurement, installation, qualification)
Excellent engineering and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated project management experience in dynamic environments with minimal supervision
