In this role you influence CFOs and Controllers by applying accounting technology to transform record-to-report processes. You’ll collaborate with a seasoned analyst team to publish research and offer advisory that helps clients optimize financial close, consolidation, and related analytics. You meet clients regularly, shaping insights from conferences to one-on-one discussions. You drive impact by guiding technology choices and process improvements that scale with global organizations.

Responsibilities

Serve as subject matter expert on record-to-report processes and accounting technologies (financial close, consolidation, CoA, materiality thresholds, accounting analytics)
Co-create authoritative research and client-ready guidance addressing senior finance executives’ priorities and challenges
Advise on technology impact for controllership and vendor selection based on specific use cases
Deliver high-quality, engaging advice through face-to-face and video presentations and discussions
Stay ahead of developments in accounting technologies, processes, and adjacent areas like AP/AR
Build client trust and rapport through insightful, actionable content and executive-level communication

Key requirements

8+ years leading accounting teams supporting R2R processes in large multinational organisations
Strong knowledge of accounting automation vendors and ERP technologies
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred; Master’s degree preferred
Willingness to travel regionally and globally
Excellent writing and presentation skills with ability to convey complex topics to business leaders
Ability to collaborate quickly and adapt to client needs
Analytical thinker with quick information processing and actionable recommendations
Willingness to challenge conventional norms
