In this on-site Senior Accountant role, you report to the Controller and own core accounting workflows. You will manage GAAP-compliant processes, support AP/AR, and drive accuracy across the ledger. You’ll collaborate across Finance, Operations, and HR to deliver insights and improve internal controls. Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy across the general ledger, bank reconciliations, credit card activity, and intercompany accounts
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional support for Finance, Operations, and HR
- Oversee AP & AR Analysts, providing training and guidance on best practices
- Prepare, analyze, and present internal and external financial reports
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and amortizations
Key requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or media setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Hands-on experience managing the full accounting cycle within ERP systems
