In this role, you will act as a highly capable technical sales architect for Digital services, promoting On-Premises Power Monitoring software and Cloud Analytics. You will work with One Services and the Technical Competency Center to craft in-depth technical value propositions for brownfield customers. The role combines engineering insight with sales acumen to drive upgrades, IoT-enabled equipment deployments, and service adoption. You will collaborate with partners and customers to shape projects and quotes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Promote On-Premises Power Monitoring software (EPMS, SAAS) and Cloud Analytics as a Service
  • Promote metering, power quality solutions, relays and instrumentation for electrical power systems
  • Cover the One Services Northeast territory, ideally New England or NY/NJ
  • Develop in-depth technical value propositions addressing customer requirements
  • Support the One Services Selling Center, external partners, and distributors with deep technical sales support
  • Contribute to demand generation if needed and assist in project development
  • Grow business with brownfield customers by evaluating existing infrastructure and promoting upgrades
  • Create quotes and drawings for complex solutions; collaborate with sales to meet targets
  • Travel up to 50% to customer sites in One Services Northeast region
  • Maintain knowledge of contracts, specifications, and project financials

Key requirements

  • Strong experience with electrical SCADA Software and Power Monitoring Software
  • Experience with Electrical Power Meters
  • Knowledge of MV/LV distribution equipment, transformers or VSDs
  • Proficiency in Modbus RTU, TCP/IP, IEC61850, Ethernet/IP, Zigbee, MQTT
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contracts
  • Team-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative IoT solution mindset to add customer value
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Technology; 5+ years of relevant experience; Master’s preferred
  • MS Office, Visio, HMI and programmable controllers/IEDs knowledge
  • Understanding of contract documents, project financials; strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and valid US driver’s license
  • Consulting sales experience; cross-functional partnership skills
  • Proficiency in English (spoken)
  • Proactive in demand creation and solution selling
