In this role you will design and scale HD mapping systems and pipelines to support autonomous vehicle deployment. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop large-scale mapping algorithms and maintain reliable production workflows. You will help map new cities and continuously update existing maps, driving efficiency and quality at scale. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a fast-moving team focused on cutting-edge mobility technology.

Responsibilities

Automate large-scale mapping pipelines and workflows
Contribute to scalable algorithms for map creation, validation, and maintenance
Ensure system reliability and performance through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of production systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in perception, planning, prediction, simulation, etc
Propose tool or feature ideas to improve processes

Key requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience
Proficiency in C++ and Python
Experience in cloud / distributed computing and automating pipelines
Experience in industry software devops workflow and tools, e.g. CI / CD
Experience working with 3D sensor data from cameras and/or lidars
