In this role you will lead multiple software development squads to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable web and enterprise applications that support Solera’s growing business. You will set objectives, monitor metrics, and ensure on-time delivery in an Agile environment while mentoring engineers and collaborating with Architecture, Product, and Design teams. You’ll drive technical excellence, oversee code quality, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities

Lead multiple software development squads to deliver optimal technical solutions
Define expectations, metrics, and monitor results
Troubleshoot and resolve technical impediments
Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to the team
Coordinate with Dev Managers and Architecture Team on designs
Suggest initiatives to improve processes and technologies
Translate system requirements into actionable tasks
Perform code reviews and fix bottlenecks
Coordinate with Engineering leadership, Product Management, Agile and Design Teams
Coordinate deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Key requirements

8 years of hands-on SDLC experience
Minimum 3 years of management/technical lead experience
Proficiency in Java, REST, SOAP; performance tuning of applications
Strong Agile understanding
Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows
Domain-Driven Design and microservices architectures
SQL Server, NoSQL, and Oracle databases
API design
Business-Driven Design and Test Driven Development
Middleware and security experience; web-scale performance
Cloud hosting experience; PaaS familiarity
Experience with middleware applications and non-relational databases
