In this role you help ensure quality across Swiss Re's security-focused service portfolio by designing and implementing automated QA, testing strategies and production-grade code. You will contribute to a DevSecOps-focused team, building tools and automation that enable fast, reliable testing across microservices and interfaces. You’ll shape testing standards, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence to support resilient, secure solutions for external users. This opportunity combines software development, testing and DevOps in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

Implement test automation and production code to support service development
Build tools and microservices enabling cross-layer quality
Design and maintain test frameworks and environments for fast, reliable testing
Drive quality strategy with clear requirements and standards
Evangelize testing, automation, and DevOps practices within the squad

Key requirements

5+ years of relevant experience
Experience designing, building, integrating and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks
Experience designing unit, mutation, component, and integration tests for fast, reliable tests
Exposure to UI testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and Page Object Model
Strong API testing knowledge (REST)
3+ years Java experience in testing frameworks and Spring RESTful apps
Good English communication, SDLC best practices, and collaborative mindset
Ability to teach and evangelize testing strategy and quality practices
Ability to define initiatives with clear requirements and quality standards before execution
