As Software Architect in the Access Edge Devices team, you will design and deliver scalable software services for edge devices across aviation, maritime, and other markets. You’ll shape architecture roadmaps aligned with long-term strategy while ensuring delivery-ready requirements for DevOps teams. Responsibilities

Design and evolve large-scale distributed software architectures for edge devices
Create architecture roadmaps aligned with product strategy and regulatory needs
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and team leads to translate inputs into concrete requirements
Drive DevOps-by-design practices to support end-to-end service development and operations
Improve software practices to enhance quality, agility, scalability, and reliability
Translate architectures into actionable requirements for DevOps teams
Influence development teams with modern software practices
Support跨-border collaboration in a hybrid work model

Key requirements

8+ years of related experience with a Master’s degree or 10+ years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Computer Engineering; or 12+ years without a degree
Hands-on experience with domain modeling, distributed systems, API management, and microservices architectures
Experience with edge devices, real-time constraints, device drivers, power efficiency, hardware accelerators, intermittent connectivity, and remote management
Practical use of AI tooling to drive improvements
Proficiency in OO languages (C, C++, Python, Java, Go) and microservices deployment
Experience with virtualization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker Compose)
Ability to influence development teams and promote new software practices
