In this role you will lead the architectural design of complex software systems for high-tech projects, ensuring performance, quality and reliability. You will work closely with project managers and customers to shape offers, feasibility studies, and project organization. You will guide development teams, mentor colleagues, and drive innovation by applying the latest trends in embedded and application software. This position combines strategic architecture with hands-on leadership in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of complex software systems to meet performance and reliability goals
- Prepare offers and feasibility studies in collaboration with project manager, account manager, and customer
- Collaborate with project manager to define project organization, timelines, and risk mitigation
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and development processes
- Develop and support training programs through coaching and supervision
- Stay updated on industry trends and apply innovations to drive project and team progress
Key requirements
- 10+ years of technical software development experience in various roles and environments
- Experience as a software architect
- Proficiency in C# and C++ for multiple operating systems, including state machines and real-time aspects
- Extensive experience with OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in dynamic environments with changing priorities and multiple stakeholders
- Good communication skills, able to present to technical and non-technical partners
- Valid European driving license
- Willingness to travel up to 10% worldwide
