In this role you will drive the design and fabrication of MEMS-based AFM probes, translating requirements into robust probe solutions. You will work closely with internal and external teams to define the development roadmap and ensure smooth production scale-up. You will apply modeling (FEA/etch simulations), lead hands-on prototype fabrication, and contribute to IP through patent disclosures. Responsibilities

Extract and generate engineering requirements for AFM probes
Design MEMS AFM probes and define their fabrication process
Model probes and processes using FEA and etch simulations
Fabricate prototypes in a hands-on manner
Support production scale-up
Collaborate with internal and external partners
Review patent landscape and prepare disclosures/applications

Key requirements

Proven MEMS design and fabrication experience with full process design, fabrication, and scale-up
Strong communication skills; hardworking, team-oriented, curious, creative, quality-focused
Bachelor in Engineering with MEMS emphasis, plus ~10 years of related experience (or equivalent)
