In this role you drive revenue growth by identifying and managing SLED agency relationships and delivering tailored IT solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to respond to RFPs and align offerings with government procurement requirements. You join a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment with uncapped commission potential. You will help Xerox scale its government IT solutions and expand partnerships with federal agencies. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the SLED market
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement officers in SLED agencies
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
- Stay informed about federal procurement processes, regulations, and trends in government IT spending
- Present Xerox portfolio of IT solutions including managed services, hardware, software, and cloud technologies to SLED clients
- Maintain accurate opportunity, forecast, and activity records in the CRM
- Ensure all sales activities comply with SLED contracting rules and regulations
- Collaborate with technical teams, contract managers, and marketing to deliver customized solutions
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of sales experience in the federal government sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Familiarity with SLED procurement processes
- Strong understanding of IT products and services including cloud, hardware, and managed services
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
