Senior Specialist / Project Manager
Experteer Overview
In this role, you lead on-site construction and commissioning activities for renewable projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will coordinate subcontractors and external resources under the Project Manager and Construction Manager, driving efficient on-site execution and timely responses to design changes. You help ensure compliance with design, permits, and regulatory requirements while maintaining cost discipline. This position offers impact across solar, utility-scale, and C&I initiatives within Ameresco’s renewable portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site construction and commissioning activities according to the project schedule, coordinating subcontractors and external supports
- Ensure quality and HSE standards, and that works align with design, client requirements, and regulatory permits
- Evaluate potential on-site design changes and coordinate implementation with Project Engineers
- Manage site logistics and equipment deliveries with the Project Manager
- Control quality through SAT and address non-conformities with corrective actions
- Organize and lead on-site coordination meetings and verify weekly work plans
- Produce and share on-site progress reports (daily/weekly) highlighting progress, risks, and actions
- Collaborate with Quality Manager to define and share HSE lessons learned across the country
- Support clients on HSE requests included in the Technical Economical Offer
- Ensure proper onboarding and safety training for contractors on site
- Maintain high level of HSE KPIs and ensure Emergency Response Plan effectiveness
Key requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil
- At least 5 years of construction site management experience in the energy sector, with at least 2 years in renewable energy
- Knowledge of renewable energy regulations and safety standards
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project is advantageous
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
