As MEGASYS Site Director, you lead the on-site MEGASYS operations team to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused service in semiconductor environments. You drive operational excellence, collaborate with customers, and ensure alignment with site goals and broader business objectives. Your leadership shapes staffing, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers exposure to cross-site collaboration, strategic initiatives, and travel for training.

Responsibilities

Sets and communicates site goals for operations
Fosters an open, collaborative team environment
Serves as primary interface between customer and EMD Electronics on site issues
Manages on-site service escalations and coordinates with customer
Works with customer on operational improvements and safety/quality data sharing
Delegates tasks, sets deadlines, and ensures staffing and training
Aligns resources with organization and customer goals
Supports MEGASYS and customer during excursions and root-cause analyses
Develops site operations leadership and monitors KPIs
Negotiates changes to the TCGM operating agreement (scope, fees, changes)

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field with 7+ years in chemical operations or manufacturing; or 10 years experience in lieu of degree
Experience managing a small to medium sized team (5+ people)
Strong preference for semiconductor industry experience
Customer management experience as a service provider
Proven issue resolution and customer prioritization abilities
Ability to lead teams in safety, health, and environmental standards (OSHA/ISO knowledge)
Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal skills; strong presentation abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems
Experience with cost reduction and continuous improvement
Willingness to travel, including overnight and international trips (~10%)
