As System Architect, you will act as a trusted presales technical advisor, aligning multi‑BU offerings with customer needs to shape value-rich solutions. You will develop reference architectures and ensure technical integrity of quotations, partnering with sales and field leaders to deliver modernization, maintenance, and digital services. You’ll lead cross‑functional technical discussions, educate customers, and influence solution design across complex engagements. This role offers impact through shaping repeatable architectures and accelerating value for customers and the business.

Responsibilities

  • Presales technical leadership for architectures and cross‑BU solutions
  • Lead customer-focused technical discussions to validate requirements and shape the technical value proposition
  • Conduct customer site walks and interface with customer technical teams
  • Educate customers on Schneider Electric offers, modernization paths, and lifecycle management strategies
  • Support 1–2 BU offers while aligning with fighting teams across sales and operations
  • Create solution layouts and system designs addressing customer requirements
  • ValidateTechnical integrity of quotations and ensure alignment with field leaders
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures and segment solution requirements to support scalable solutions
  • Collaborate on RFIs/RFPs and drive continuous improvement with Services Excellence teams
  • Coach and mentor internal teams to build technical capability

Key requirements

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Proficiency with Schneider Electric Portfolios including APC, Square D, and Software offering preferred
  • Experience with digital tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Ability to travel 25%-40% with sales teams for technical conversations and onsite assessments
  • Incentive structure aligned to Sales Incentive Plan (SIP)
  • Strong technical leadership and customer alignment skills
