Experteer Overview
In this role you will support Schneider Electric’s installed base service offers, helping customers optimize electrical distribution and switchgear solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop sales plans, pursue opportunities, and address the needs of large commercial and industrial accounts. You’ll travel within the territory to engage distributors and end users, acting as a technical consultant on engineering services and retrofit solutions. This position offers a pathway to impact by expanding account penetration and enhancing customer satisfaction within a sustainability-forward company.

Responsibilities
- Support the full range of installed base service offers (Engineering Services, Turnkey Installations, Preventive Maintenance Contracts, life-extension offers)
- Travel within the territory to meet distributors and end users and develop new sales opportunities
- Pursue leads, address needs of large accounts, and drive sales growth
- Act as a engineering-services consultant to high-level customer contacts about electrical power distribution needs
- Foster strong relationships with field office sales, operations, and channel partners
- Set goals, develop sales/business plans, establish calls and strategies, and execute the plan
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Schneider Electric products/solutions/services and competitor landscape
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through deep understanding of the customer’s organization and timely follow-up
Key requirements
- 5+ years of technical knowledge of electrical distribution and switchgear construction
- Knowledge of legacy switchgear brands (Square D, GE, Westinghouse, Federal Pacific, Allis Chalmers)
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com
- Ability to present engineering services and retrofit solutions to end users
