In this Vienna-based role you own end-to-end SOC and SIEM services across Austria, Poland, Romania and Hungary. You will drive strategic planning, design, implementation, and ongoing optimization in a multi-entity environment. You’ll coordinate international teams, manage service delivery and reporting, and act as the Service Owner for the email server domain. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong emphasis on risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and cross-country collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Drive strategic planning and continuous development of SOC/SIEM offerings in line with security requirements and compliance standards
- Own full lifecycle of SOC/SIEM services (design, implementation, operations, optimization)
- Lead technical initiatives to enhance SOC/SIEM platforms, processes, and tooling
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to improve service efficiency and address needs
- Define, monitor and ensure SLA compliance
- Collaborate with internal competence centers and stakeholders across multiple CEE entities
- Act as primary contact for internal customers on service status, security events, and improvements
- Prepare and present reports on service performance, KPIs, and security incidents
- Coordinate cross-functional international teams and external partners
- Act as Service Owner for the email server environment
- Support the development and scaling of delivery capabilities in Romania
- Manage services for more than 50 internal client entities
- Travel up to 25% mainly within Central and Eastern Europe
Key requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or comparable discipline
- Strong knowledge of SOC and SIEM systems; multi-tenant experience is an advantage
- Solid understanding of IT security and standards (ISO 27001)
- 5-10 years in IT or security project leadership within complex environments
- Experience in technical coordination and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in international contexts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent English; German is a plus
