In this role you drive on-time delivery by managing material flow through the value stream using a Kanban pull system. You lead a Service Delivery team within OMG, collaborating with supply and commercial teams to meet customer demand while applying lean principles. You will leverage SIOP data to optimize production capacity and procurement options, and champion continuous improvement. This position offers meaningful impact in a safety-first, teamwork-driven environment that values operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Promote Safety as a priority for all employees
- Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean Manufacturing within the Service Delivery team
- Use the SIOP process to review production capability and suggest improvements or alternate procurement
- Review daily orders against inventory and manage the Kanban system
- Coordinate with internal and external supply chains to ensure raw material availability
- Engage with the commercial team to anticipate events affecting the plan
- Conduct weekly Kanban policy reviews across the value stream
- Perform additional assigned tasks
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of Lean principles
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and mathematical skills
- Familiarity with SIOP
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
- Ability to use data to identify trends
- Team-oriented, hands-on leadership mindset
- Good judgment and time management
- Ownership mindset with willingness to drive change
- Proficient with MS Office; Excel advanced a plus
- ERP experience, QAD preferred
- Positive can-do attitude
