In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of advanced wireless systems, spanning design, simulation, prototyping, and validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust hardware/software implementations and drive development schedules. The position emphasizes hands-on lab and field testing, FPGA and fixed-point work, and leadership of a multidisciplinary engineering team. Responsibilities

System design and requirement specification
Algorithm development, simulation and testing
Performance simulation, benchmarking and testing
Fixed-point modeling and FPGA design/verification support
Collaborate with FPGA and software teams for hardware/software implementation
Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team for product development as needed
Manage development schedules and tasks
Lab and field testing and troubleshooting
Technical documentation and presentations
R&D business development and capture activities as needed
Brainstorm future enhancements with other teams
Occasional travel for customer interactions or demonstrations

Key requirements

M.S. or Ph.D. in wireless communications and signal processing
At least 7 years of wireless systems design and development experience
Experience across complete wireless development cycle from design to field testing
Deep knowledge of RF propagation and channel modeling
Strong grounding in digital communication systems including RF subsystems, synchronization, channel estimation, and coding
Extensive experience with signal processing, MIMO, OFDM
Experience in modeling and mitigating RF impairments (AGC, phase noise, frequency/clock offset)
Fixed-point modeling, implementation, and verification
Expert MATLAB programming and simulation
U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background checks
