In this role you will drive and execute private credit solutions across the investment bank and direct lending ecosystem, partnering with co-heads and the sourcing team. You will manage debt and equity investment processes, maintain key lender relationships, and support fundraising and due diligence. You will promote best practices, robust controls, and scalable capital markets processes to sustain growth. This position offers visibility across credit strategies and a chance to shape how Oaktree navigates complex market opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Manage operational processes for executing debt and equity investments
- Maintain and originate relationships with financial institutions and competitors
- Collaborate with the investment team on deal-specific structuring/issues
- Support fundraising, operational due diligence, and investor communications
- Improve and develop best practices for all aspects of financial and capital markets
- Monitor and maintain controls, procedures and infrastructure
- Drive financial discipline, accountability and a culture of continuous improvement and scalability
- Ensure internal controls and procedures safeguard assets
Key requirements
- 10-15 years of relevant institutional experience
- experience at a global investment manager with multiple strategies
- strong execution with debt, lender, and banking relationships
- exposure to M&A activity
- knowledge of capital markets, finance, tax, treasury, and operational support
