As Senior Technology Specialist for membrane & purification, you will lead technical excellence across FrieslandCampina’s global factory network, turning membrane innovations into tangible business impact. You’ll own strategic capex initiatives and steer purification improvements from lab to production. You’ll collaborate with R&D, Operations, and cross-functional partners to shape standards and engineering practices. This role offers high-visibility impact in a dairy-focused technology platform and global scale.

Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: perform root-cause analyses for membrane and purification issues and implement scalable solutions; codify knowledge into standards and ensure factory-wide adoption; identify efficiency, cost, and quality improvements through membrane process innovation.
- Strategic Projects: own process licensing for major capex projects (10M+), ensure optimal technology choices, scale R&D innovations to production, lead multidisciplinary projects.
- Collaboration & Integration: partner with R&D, Operations, QA, Engineering, and Marketing to align initiatives with business strategy; work with internal/external partners and participate in international conferences to translate advances into new opportunities.
- Knowledge Development: contribute to long-term technology strategy; train and support cross-organizational membrane capabilities; ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Key requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in food, chemical, or engineering with progressive technical responsibility
- deep knowledge of process technology and dairy production, especially membrane processing and purification
- proven track record in process licensing for major capex projects (10M+) in membrane/purification
- analytical and problem-solving skills; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
- strong project and stakeholder management in multicultural environments
- experience collaborating with internal and external partners to advance membrane tech
- fluency in English; additional languages valued
