In this role, you lead Honeywell’s Technical Support team to resolve complex issues efficiently, shaping support operations and customer outcomes. You will collaborate with Sales, KAMs, and project teams to support pre-sales engineering, launches, and after-sales activities. Your expertise in safety-related technologies and diagnostics will drive satisfaction and continuous process improvement in a hybrid setting from Ratingen. You help create safer, smarter, and more sustainable solutions while guiding cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize the Technical Support team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
  • Collaborate with Sales Agents and KAMs on PreSales-Engineering and support the EIS process
  • Specialize in EMC, Overvoltage, Radiation protection, and Explosion protection
  • Support Offering and Project Managers during new product launches and manage After-Sales resources
  • Oversee quality control with Quality, R&D, and customers using Jira for tracking
  • Troubleshoot technical and personal issues with customers, supporting Alpha and Beta Testing

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent)
  • 7+ years in technical support, systems engineering, or field service
  • 2-4 years of experience leading technical teams
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, embedded systems, and networked devices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with customer focus
  • Familiarity with NFPA, UL, EN fire safety regulations, networking protocols, IP-based devices, and remote diagnostics tools
  • ITIL or service management framework experience (technical leadership)
