Responsibilities

Manage Nutanix AHV, storage, and cluster lifecycle
Oversee Veeam Backup & Replication
Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and Windows server environments where applicable
Maintain PAM, core network and security components
Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and procedures
Own backup and recovery architecture across VMs, databases, and storage
Design, test, and improve BCP/DRP frameworks; ensure tested recovery objectives
Contribute to audit readiness and control processes
Improve system monitoring, log management, and automation scripts (PowerShell preferred; Linux shell)
Coordinate patch management and work with vendors/service providers
Advise management on infrastructure-related decisions; participate in exceptional interventions

Key requirements

5-10+ years of experience as a System Engineer in enterprise environments
Strong hands-on infrastructure experience
Experience in banking, asset management or financial services preferred
Hyperconverged or enterprise virtualization experience (Nutanix strongly preferred)
Enterprise backup and recovery experience
Advanced Linux administration (Red Hat or equivalent)
Solid networking and infrastructure security fundamentals
Nice-to-have: experience with PAM solutions; monitoring or SIEM solutions; exposure to databases (Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL Server); relevant certifications (Nutanix, Linux, Veeam, Security)
