You lead cross‑functional teams to tackle lifecycle-focused initiatives and optimize processes that reduce ecological footprint. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to advance practical, technically feasible sustainability projects. This position offers the chance to shape how technology accelerates environmental stewardship across global operations.

Responsibilities

Technical research & analysis on advanced sustainability technologies and regulatory frameworks
Engineering strategy development to advance sustainability goals
Cross-functional collaboration with operations, management, research, and external partners
Process engineering & optimization to improve sustainability performance across the organization

Key requirements

Degree in engineering, process engineering, or related technical field
At least 10 years of engineering-driven sustainability experience with a proven track record
Fluent in English; German is an advantage
Experience applying technical solutions to real-world operational challenges
Ability to develop and implement technically feasible sustainability strategies
Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and opportunities identification
Excellent communication skills to translate technical information for stakeholders
Solution-oriented with accountability and travel 10-20%
