Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this role you will drive financial control and budgeting at AT&S HQ Leoben, focusing on procurement and spend oversight. You will ensure compliance with finance guidelines, manage budgets, and support forecasting to boost efficiency. You’ll lead spend controlling, including data migration and spend analysis to inform strategic decisions. You will collaborate with IT and Demand Management to align finances with operations in a global manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with finance and controlling guidelines across functions
Manage daily financial operations and reporting on budget vs. actual performance
Collaborate with IT and Demand Management to track investments and functional costs
Monitor personnel, FTEs, and overhead to optimize resource allocation
Support financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for operational efficiency
Oversee procurement data migration and maintain spend analysis tools
Monitor procurement costs and savings, identifying optimization opportunities
Provide ad-hoc reports and analyses to support strategic decisions

Key requirements

Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related fields
Over 5 years working experience in finance, cost/spend controlling, and financial analysis within procurement or supply chain management
Solid understanding of budget planning, cost analysis, forecasting, and actual vs. plan comparisons
Advanced skills in Excel and data migration skills, SAP, data cube analysis and financial reporting tools
Skilled in partnering with IT, Demand Management, and procurement teams to align financial processes with operations
Hands-on, results-driven mindset with commitment to excellence in delivery
Fluent in English both oral and written
