In this role you will validate state‑of‑the‑art application and control software for complex high‑tech projects in Brainport region. You will craft clear tests, pursue test automation for speed and efficiency, and perform both manual and automated validation, reporting findings to the team. You will collaborate with developers to diagnose and fix issues and deepen your understanding of software architecture and underlying technologies. Responsibilities

Write clear, thorough tests based on plans and requirements
Automate tests to improve speed and efficiency
Perform manual and automated testing and document results
Document issues and collaborate with developers to fix them
Work with developers to diagnose and solve issues
Understand software architecture and technologies behind the product

Key requirements

2+ years hands-on software development experience with Python, C++, or C#
3+ years software testing experience including writing tests and bug reporting in complex systems
Recent experience with test automation tools and frameworks, especially BDD and Gherkin
ISTQB Advanced certification or readiness to level up from Foundation
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
