In this role, you will join the Viasat Government SNS and contribute to cybersecurity software and embedded network solutions. You’ll help design, refactor, and maintain features across product lines while complying with strict security standards and certification processes. Responsibilities

Design, refactor, and maintain code for security-focused software across product lines
Contribute to cybersecurity software & systems engineering within an agile team
Develop embedded systems software and high-speed, scalable network software (protocols, device drivers, data plane)
Support integration, automation, testing, and certification of the final product
Collaborate with requirements clarification and cross-functional teams to enable delivery

Key requirements

10+ years' experience using C/C++ in embedded environments
10+ years' experience with network software design and development
7+ years' experience with Linux OS use, ideally in an embedded environment
Proven experience with Linux network stack and writing Linux kernel modules
Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, IPSec, MACsec, TLS, etc.)
Object-oriented software development experience
Agile Scrum development experience
CI/CD software experience
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
US Government position; US Citizenship required; active DoD Secret Clearance; travel up to 10%
