In this role you will help shape and execute strategies to expand AWS's Data Center portfolio across EMEA. You will negotiate multi-million dollar real estate and infrastructure deals and coordinate across product, design, legal, and construction teams to deliver end-to-end projects. You’ll translate market and technical needs into compelling value strategies and actionable plans. This position offers significant impact by enabling scalable, secure infrastructure at optimal cost while traveling roughly half the time.

Responsibilities
- Negotiate real estate development transactions from strategy to legal closure
- Develop growth strategies for specific markets as a key Site Acquisitions team member
- Execute strategic plans with internal stakeholders (product, energy, fiber, design, construction, legal, tax)
- Understand engineering requirements and craft solutions aligning design and business targets
- Involve in full construction process delivering building, data center power, and site utilities
- Prepare and present transaction summaries to senior management including costs and benefits
- Manage multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously
Key requirements
- Real estate, development, business, financial, strategic and technical background
- Ability to negotiate multi-million dollar contracts for real estate and infrastructure
- Willing to travel ~50% domestically and internationally
- Strong analytical skills yielding big-picture insights from multiple data sources
- Self-starter with time management and prioritization abilities
- Knowledge of legal document review and negotiation with counsel
- Bachelor's degree (Master's also mentioned)
