As part of Lonza’s Security Operations Center, you will protect sensitive data and systems by implementing and monitoring security controls. You will assess vulnerabilities, propose mitigations, and drive improvements to security across systems. You’ll investigate incidents, monitor networks for threats, and develop new controls while adopting next-gen security technologies. The role includes 24x7 on-call support and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Responsibilities

Handle security incidents promptly according to priority
Keep SOC systems up to date and properly configured
Identify and document information security risks and propose mitigations
Investigate and respond to security incidents
Monitor networks and systems for potential threats
Research, design, and develop new information security controls
Evaluate and deploy next-generation security technologies
Manage solution development and deployment per best practices
Participate in 24x7 follow-the-sun operations
Stay up to date with technological developments

Key requirements

Extensive experience in Cyber Security, Security Incident Response
Hands-on, deep technical experience in at least one IT field
Strong technical capabilities across IT landscape
Ability to create meaningful reports and manage stakeholders
Good understanding of IT landscape and Cloud Computing
Collaboration with internal teams and service providers
Hands-on experience with security technologies such as antivirus/EDR, IDP/IPS, firewalls, and content filtering
