In this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you steer cost management across the full project lifecycle for a diverse Irish portfolio. You will lead cost planning, procurement, and financial control within a collaborative consultancy setting, aligning deliverables with client expectations. You’ll influence financial decisions from inception to completion, driving value, risk management, and cost certainty on technically complex projects. This role offers exposure to global best practices within a trusted, international network.

Responsibilities

Lead detailed cost planning, forecasting, and reporting to maintain financial oversight
Manage tendering, procurement, and contract administration to ensure compliance
Drive value engineering and cost optimisation while monitoring project performance
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to communicate complex financial data
Apply analytical skills and cost management tools to support decision-making

Key requirements

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying
Five+ years post-qualification experience in the Irish construction sector
Member or working towards membership of SCSI or RICS
Proven track record in cost planning, procurement, and contract administration
Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
Experience with cost management software; knowledge of sustainability practices or ICMS reporting advantageous
