Responsibilities

Lead design teams of professionals and technicians and mentor staff
Support business development and proposals with cross-line collaboration and client engagement
Prepare scope, budget, staffing, and schedules; manage project scope and objectives
Execute complex wastewater design tasks (BFDs/PFDs/PIDs, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing) and produce reports and feasibility studies
Present to clients, regulators, and stakeholders; facilitate QA/QC and independent technical reviews
Coordinate design and construction management; develop project management plans and governance
Assist in permitting processes and regulatory interactions; seek final approvals
Forecast project revenue with leadership; oversee proposals for comparable projects
Supervise local staff and develop successors; foster high-performing teams
Engage with regulatory and licensing requirements and coordinate multi-discipline inputs

Key requirements

Bachelor in Engineering
15+ years related experience in wastewater project management
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
PMP is a plus
demonstrated leadership and strategic direction setting
willingness to travel to other offices and project sites
