In this role you will drive complex, multi-year programs that span finance, tax, and technology across a global business. You’ll align cross-functional stakeholders, manage scope, and deliver on high-impact initiatives in a fast-changing environment. The position offers ownership of program strategy, execution, and executive communication, with a strong emphasis on data-driven delivery and process improvement. You will work with teams across Amazon to enable scalable program management and transformation in finance and tax domains.

Responsibilities

Manage work streams and projects from initiation to closeout
Lead project owners, sponsors and SMEs to align on objectives
Communicate program roadmap and status to executive stakeholders
Synthesize requirements from multiple functions for stakeholder buy-in
Plan resources for PM team and justify needs to sponsors
Leverage AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and delivery timelines
Execute project closeout processes and practices
Support development and implementation of enterprise-wide program management tools and standards

Key requirements

Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or related field
Experience in program or project management
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Knowledge of general AI tools
Experience in Tax, accounting, controls, reconciliation, or financial systems integration (desired)
