As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you will lead cross-functional hardware and system design efforts to deliver complex computing and communications systems. You will shape CONOPS, requirements, trade studies, performance analyses, and integration and verification activities. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive architecture and cradle-to-grave lifecycle outcomes. This role offers technical leadership, impactful projects, and a path to advanced expertise within a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional hardware and system design teams for complex computing and communications systems
Contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, trade studies, performance analysis, design, integration, and verification
Participate in architecture development, requirements derivation, and suballocation
Support cradle-to-grave lifecycle of related products
Engage in design, simulation, and verification of systems and their models

Key requirements

Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or related field
10+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 8 years
Active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance at time of hire
U.S. citizenship
Experience with architecture development and requirements derivation
Experience with system behavior and structure definition
Hands-on lab experience with electronic test equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative leadership and mentoring
Proficiency with system modeling tools (e.g., Cameo/MagicDraw)
